We are honored to invite you to join the 17th International Conference on Cross-Cultural Studies: “CROSS-CULTURAL KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE. Interactions between Law, Education, Tourism & Culture.“, organized at the venue of Ovidius University on 24-25 July 2020 as virtual or in-person.

The purpose of the SEA international scientific conference is to enable the academia, research, and corporate entities to boost the potential of the “Share. Empower. Awareness.” environments, by providing a forum for exchange of ideas, research outcomes, business case and technical achievements. Organized by FRIA, SEA17 offers ten main sessions in the domains of Social, Educational, Language, Economics, Engineering, Medicine and Interdisciplinary Studies, aiming to bring together scholars, academicians, researchers and students to exchange ideas and share knowledge in making a contribution to the humanity’s quest for answers on the local or global problems.

Considering the travel limitations, the conference will mainly be carried out with distant presantations thanks to our online presentation platform.

The keynotes will be presented orally and broadcasted live along with your proposals at the Ovidius University of Constanța, Aleea Universității, No. 1, Building A (headquarters).

I. Presentations & Audience

We will provide three presentation methods:

  1. Oral (joining in an online session room with realtime speech)
  2. Poster (presentation of your poster online with realtime speech)
  3. Forum presentation (PowerPoint, video or poster permanently published on author page. No realtime speech)

Listener:
Participating in the conference without presentation.

II. For participants who also want to publish an article

Papers describing original work are invited in any of the areas listed below. Acceptance will be based on quality, relevance and originality. Both full research reports and work-in-progress reports are welcome. There will be both oral and poster sessions.

Each of these topic areas is expanded below but the sub-topics list is not exhaustive. Papers may address one or more of the listed sub-topics, although authors should not feel limited by them. Unlisted but related sub-topics are also acceptable.

The abstracts and full texts will be published in one of the 5 asociated scientific journals.

MANUSCRIPTS

The SEA conference constantly promotes original articles of basic research outcomes, experimental development, case studies and best practices, critical analysis and discussions, statistics, assessments and forecasts on Sharing, Empower and Awareness environments.

We encourage authors to publish one of the following types of articles: empirical studies, literary analysis, theoretical articles, methodological articles, case studies, book reviews, comments, views and replies on previously published articles.

Papers should be submitted on the SEA Open Research platform (https://seaopenresearch.eu/submission/). Accepted full papers, after a double blind peer-review, will be published in one of the 5 asociated scientific journals.

  • LISTENER. Participating in the conference only without neither presentation.

Certificate of participation is awarded for presenters and listeners.

Paper Submission

The submission of a paper on the subject of your presentation is optional but strongly encouraged.
The intent is to post draft papers before the conference (Deadline: 20 July  2020) to inform preparations for on‐site discussions, and to post final papers following the conference so that you can incorporate suggestions from delegates in your final version, which will be included in one of the affiliated journals.
At the same time, it is okay to submit the manuscripts later (after July  20th).

Notification of Acceptance/ Rejection of papers will be sent by e-mail via the “Track your manuscript” module.

You can send your manuscript for FREE (manuscripts must be prepared according to the our guidelines and follow the rules and deadlines for submission specified in the “Submission Guide” and transmission deadlines). Please note that papers submitted to SEA 17, if accepted, must be published open access through payment of an ARTICLE PUBLICATION AND PROCESSING CHARGE (APC). The APC is 50 EUR. The fees listed are per article, regardless of the number of authors.
