Familiarizing yourself with journal’s instructions for authors is a key part of writing your paper and preparing to submit.
Write your manuscript meeting the editing standards by reading information about manuscript preparation (reference styles, artwork guidelines etc.), forms and declarations.
It’s important to familiarize yourself with the journal’s own policies, but in addition, you should also review the SEA Editorial Policies that apply across our whole portfolio of journals.

Initial submission. SEA use online submission systems to swiftly deliver your research to journal editors for their consideration.

Manuscripts are subjected to a double-blind review in which the identity of the reviewers and the authors are hidden from each other. The peer review process starts once you have submitted your manuscript.

Initial checks. Once your article has passed the initial checks, one of our internal editors will accept the manuscript and you’ll receive an acceptance email. At this point payment of the APC (Article Processing Charge) is required.

The next step is the Article Processing stage: your manuscript is processed by the SEA Editorial Department.
After initial checks, your manuscript will be sent for assessment by independent experts in your field. The reviewers are asked to judge the validity, significance, and originality of your work.

Feedback provided by reviewers should be used by authors to improve the manuscript before it is published. When you receive notification in your author account or email, please read the instructions provided by the reviewers carefully.
Avoid processing delays by responding to reviewers’ recommendations.

Final submission. Copy editing begins and your article is created.
SEA Editors publishes the article and makes it available to the scientific community.
Abstraction and indexing make it visible in international databases and libraries.

The submission of the manuscript may be done solely for the purpose of publishing in an academic journal or it may also targhet further dissemination at an SEA Conference or a HUB event.

Registration for a future event. You can participate in one of our events: with manuscript publication (attend the conference or without you being present) or without manuscript publication (as a presenter or a listener).
