The presidium of this conference was not accidentally chosen, given that the Romanian Academy has branches only in three cities in Romania (Bucharest, Iasi and Cluj), it was appropriate that at the 8th SEA conference in Iasi and the 12th having the Romanian Academy as a partner, the president of the Romanian Academy in Iași was invited. Personally, I am satisfied with the result of our mobilization in a very short time: we have 60 participants.

Visiting Iași - Touristic program

Iasi is the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main centre of Moldavian culture since 1408. The city prides itself with publishing the first Romanian newspaper and establishing the first Romanian university. Today, Iasi is home to five universities.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Corina ȚIFREA, Raluca COSTACHE, Andreea IONEL – PHYSICAL EXERCISE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE FINANCES AND MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITIES

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Valentina V. ȘUPARSCHII (BONDARI) – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Corina ȚIFREA, Raluca COSTACHE, Andreea IONEL – PHYSICAL EXERCISE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE FINANCES AND MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITIES

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Visiting Iași - Touristic program

Iasi is the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main centre of Moldavian culture since 1408. The city prides itself with publishing the first Romanian newspaper and establishing the first Romanian university. Today, Iasi is home to five universities.

Ștefan COLIBABA, Anca COLIBABA, Cintia COLIBABA – E-LEARNING FROM NATURE THROUGH E-LESSONS

The article is a study based on the e-Learning from Nature project (2015-1-IT02-KA201-015133) funded by the European Commission.  The project’s main objectives are centred on improving students’ low achievement and stimulating secondary school students’ interest in science subjects. The article focuses on scientific education and its challenges and suggests an innovative approach which connects science with nature. It examines one of the most important project outputs: the e-lessons (short video lessons) created within the European partnership and the way they can contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn science. Participant teachers’ testimonials have also been considered in the general evaluation of this project output.

Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Valentina V. ȘUPARSCHII (BONDARI) – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Corina ȚIFREA, Raluca COSTACHE, Andreea IONEL – PHYSICAL EXERCISE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE FINANCES AND MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITIES

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Victor Nwaoba ITUMO – UNITED NATIONS OFFCIAL LANGUAGES ADOPTION IN UNIVERSITIES

The paper draws attention upon the new kind of demand that globalization places on the today’s people, especially those who wish to operate internationally in various spheres. The culture of the people is well entrenched in their languages. A good way to understand the culture of others is to get involved in intercultural studies where everything concerning others can be revealed. Intercultural studies also present opportunity for understanding other nationalities especially by accessing their cultures through their languages. As is evident in most national study programmes and curriculum, studying in national languages is the precedence thereby limiting the exposure students in higher institutions have after graduation. The research methodology is to do a holistic assessment of the incisive issues on the topic and draws the conclusion of the necessity of adoption of UN working languages for all students in higher Institutions across the globe.

The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Iasi is the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main centre of Moldavian culture since 1408. The city prides itself with publishing the first Romanian newspaper and establishing the first Romanian university. Today, Iasi is home to five universities.

Stela JAKOVA – DIVIDEND PAYMENT BEHAVIOUR OF COMPANIES DUE TO CHANGE OF DIVIDEND TAX RATE IN ROMANIA

This paper examines Romanian companies’ behaviour (listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) to a change of dividend tax rate. Even if the number of companies which had paid dividends in 2016, for 2015 decreased to 32, compared with 34 companies from previous year, the total value of paid dividends increased with 53% comparatively with dividends paid for 2014. This can be explained through the new tax rate which has been reduced from 16% to 5%. We found that the shareholders obtain profit from two sources: due to increase of gross dividend and due to decrease of the tax rate. Moreover, the paper found also: for the companies who paid higher dividend for 2015 compared with 2014 the dividend paid for 2015 is statistically significant different than the dividend paid for 2014; for the companies who paid smallest dividend for 2015, we were not able to find any statistical difference. This means that the companies which increased the dividend for 2015, took into consideration the new legislation and they are motivated to pay more to the shareholders; companies which decreased the dividend value for 2015 is due to some internal factors.

Victor Nwaoba ITUMO – UNITED NATIONS OFFCIAL LANGUAGES ADOPTION IN UNIVERSITIES

The paper draws attention upon the new kind of demand that globalization places on the today’s people, especially those who wish to operate internationally in various spheres. The culture of the people is well entrenched in their languages. A good way to understand the culture of others is to get involved in intercultural studies where everything concerning others can be revealed. Intercultural studies also present opportunity for understanding other nationalities especially by accessing their cultures through their languages. As is evident in most national study programmes and curriculum, studying in national languages is the precedence thereby limiting the exposure students in higher institutions have after graduation. The research methodology is to do a holistic assessment of the incisive issues on the topic and draws the conclusion of the necessity of adoption of UN working languages for all students in higher Institutions across the globe.

Ștefan COLIBABA, Anca COLIBABA, Cintia COLIBABA – E-LEARNING FROM NATURE THROUGH E-LESSONS

The article is a study based on the e-Learning from Nature project (2015-1-IT02-KA201-015133) funded by the European Commission.  The project’s main objectives are centred on improving students’ low achievement and stimulating secondary school students’ interest in science subjects. The article focuses on scientific education and its challenges and suggests an innovative approach which connects science with nature. It examines one of the most important project outputs: the e-lessons (short video lessons) created within the European partnership and the way they can contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn science. Participant teachers’ testimonials have also been considered in the general evaluation of this project output.

Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Corina ȚIFREA, Raluca COSTACHE, Andreea IONEL – PHYSICAL EXERCISE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE FINANCES AND MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITIES

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. Cristina GELAN – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

The paper provides an analysis of ways to measure and value the contemporary artworks. In this regard, the paper proposes a dual perspective approach, namely: reporting of some criteria against which may be assessed a work of art, on the one hand and, on the other side, recognizing the importance of  a complex hermeneutical approach that has in the valorization. The context is of the evolution forms of expression, techniques and artistic means, determined mostly by the evolving technology, which led to breaking the traditional specific boundaries of art and to the development of an artistic syncretism. Thus, the artistic object becomes as difficult to define as it is difficult to assess and artwork can be seen as a symbol or a system of signs that serves an aesthetic purpose. The interpretation involves the establishment of a syncretic stylistics and the evaluation becomes a semiosis.

There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Cristina GELAN – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

The paper provides an analysis of ways to measure and value the contemporary artworks. In this regard, the paper proposes a dual perspective approach, namely: reporting of some criteria against which may be assessed a work of art, on the one hand and, on the other side, recognizing the importance of  a complex hermeneutical approach that has in the valorization. The context is of the evolution forms of expression, techniques and artistic means, determined mostly by the evolving technology, which led to breaking the traditional specific boundaries of art and to the development of an artistic syncretism. Thus, the artistic object becomes as difficult to define as it is difficult to assess and artwork can be seen as a symbol or a system of signs that serves an aesthetic purpose. The interpretation involves the establishment of a syncretic stylistics and the evaluation becomes a semiosis.

Stela JAKOVA – DIVIDEND PAYMENT BEHAVIOUR OF COMPANIES DUE TO CHANGE OF DIVIDEND TAX RATE IN ROMANIA

This paper examines Romanian companies’ behaviour (listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) to a change of dividend tax rate. Even if the number of companies which had paid dividends in 2016, for 2015 decreased to 32, compared with 34 companies from previous year, the total value of paid dividends increased with 53% comparatively with dividends paid for 2014. This can be explained through the new tax rate which has been reduced from 16% to 5%. We found that the shareholders obtain profit from two sources: due to increase of gross dividend and due to decrease of the tax rate. Moreover, the paper found also: for the companies who paid higher dividend for 2015 compared with 2014 the dividend paid for 2015 is statistically significant different than the dividend paid for 2014; for the companies who paid smallest dividend for 2015, we were not able to find any statistical difference. This means that the companies which increased the dividend for 2015, took into consideration the new legislation and they are motivated to pay more to the shareholders; companies which decreased the dividend value for 2015 is due to some internal factors.

Victor Nwaoba ITUMO – UNITED NATIONS OFFCIAL LANGUAGES ADOPTION IN UNIVERSITIES

The paper draws attention upon the new kind of demand that globalization places on the today’s people, especially those who wish to operate internationally in various spheres. The culture of the people is well entrenched in their languages. A good way to understand the culture of others is to get involved in intercultural studies where everything concerning others can be revealed. Intercultural studies also present opportunity for understanding other nationalities especially by accessing their cultures through their languages. As is evident in most national study programmes and curriculum, studying in national languages is the precedence thereby limiting the exposure students in higher institutions have after graduation. The research methodology is to do a holistic assessment of the incisive issues on the topic and draws the conclusion of the necessity of adoption of UN working languages for all students in higher Institutions across the globe.

Ștefan COLIBABA, Anca COLIBABA, Cintia COLIBABA – E-LEARNING FROM NATURE THROUGH E-LESSONS

The article is a study based on the e-Learning from Nature project (2015-1-IT02-KA201-015133) funded by the European Commission.  The project’s main objectives are centred on improving students’ low achievement and stimulating secondary school students’ interest in science subjects. The article focuses on scientific education and its challenges and suggests an innovative approach which connects science with nature. It examines one of the most important project outputs: the e-lessons (short video lessons) created within the European partnership and the way they can contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn science. Participant teachers’ testimonials have also been considered in the general evaluation of this project output.

Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. Iasi is the most important political, economic and cultural centre of the province of Moldavia as well as one of the oldest cities in Romania. Deeply rooted in history, Iasi has been the main centre of Moldavian culture since 1408. The city prides itself with publishing the first Romanian newspaper and establishing the first Romanian university. Today, Iasi is home to five universities.

SEA is the most open and elegant conference. It is the fourth time when I attend to it. We all have an intelligence that allows us to be together here. We all have the potential to be genius, but a lot of practice is required. For instance, I have studied the personality of Nadia Comaneci and I calculate that she had 70 000 hours of very hard work in eight years. So, this kind of practice makes the difference between a common sportive and a genius in sport.

We emphasis the results in an exaggerated way. The number of scientific articles reflect a material richness, but it is important to obtain a spiritual one. The hard work is useful, but intelligence comes from somewhere that cannot be explained. The pedagogy plays a very important role to model people. I consider my students as they are my ”children” until they graduate.

Cristina GELAN – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

The paper provides an analysis of ways to measure and value the contemporary artworks. In this regard, the paper proposes a dual perspective approach, namely: reporting of some criteria against which may be assessed a work of art, on the one hand and, on the other side, recognizing the importance of  a complex hermeneutical approach that has in the valorization. The context is of the evolution forms of expression, techniques and artistic means, determined mostly by the evolving technology, which led to breaking the traditional specific boundaries of art and to the development of an artistic syncretism. Thus, the artistic object becomes as difficult to define as it is difficult to assess and artwork can be seen as a symbol or a system of signs that serves an aesthetic purpose. The interpretation involves the establishment of a syncretic stylistics and the evaluation becomes a semiosis.

Stela JAKOVA – DIVIDEND PAYMENT BEHAVIOUR OF COMPANIES DUE TO CHANGE OF DIVIDEND TAX RATE IN ROMANIA

This paper examines Romanian companies’ behaviour (listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) to a change of dividend tax rate. Even if the number of companies which had paid dividends in 2016, for 2015 decreased to 32, compared with 34 companies from previous year, the total value of paid dividends increased with 53% comparatively with dividends paid for 2014. This can be explained through the new tax rate which has been reduced from 16% to 5%. We found that the shareholders obtain profit from two sources: due to increase of gross dividend and due to decrease of the tax rate. Moreover, the paper found also: for the companies who paid higher dividend for 2015 compared with 2014 the dividend paid for 2015 is statistically significant different than the dividend paid for 2014; for the companies who paid smallest dividend for 2015, we were not able to find any statistical difference. This means that the companies which increased the dividend for 2015, took into consideration the new legislation and they are motivated to pay more to the shareholders; companies which decreased the dividend value for 2015 is due to some internal factors.

Victor Nwaoba ITUMO – UNITED NATIONS OFFCIAL LANGUAGES ADOPTION IN UNIVERSITIES

The paper draws attention upon the new kind of demand that globalization places on the today’s people, especially those who wish to operate internationally in various spheres. The culture of the people is well entrenched in their languages. A good way to understand the culture of others is to get involved in intercultural studies where everything concerning others can be revealed. Intercultural studies also present opportunity for understanding other nationalities especially by accessing their cultures through their languages. As is evident in most national study programmes and curriculum, studying in national languages is the precedence thereby limiting the exposure students in higher institutions have after graduation. The research methodology is to do a holistic assessment of the incisive issues on the topic and draws the conclusion of the necessity of adoption of UN working languages for all students in higher Institutions across the globe.

Ștefan COLIBABA, Anca COLIBABA, Cintia COLIBABA – E-LEARNING FROM NATURE THROUGH E-LESSONS

The article is a study based on the e-Learning from Nature project (2015-1-IT02-KA201-015133) funded by the European Commission.  The project’s main objectives are centred on improving students’ low achievement and stimulating secondary school students’ interest in science subjects. The article focuses on scientific education and its challenges and suggests an innovative approach which connects science with nature. It examines one of the most important project outputs: the e-lessons (short video lessons) created within the European partnership and the way they can contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn science. Participant teachers’ testimonials have also been considered in the general evaluation of this project output.

Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Valentina V. ȘUPARSCHII (BONDARI) – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Corina ȚIFREA, Raluca COSTACHE, Andreea IONEL – PHYSICAL EXERCISE MANAGEMENT FOR THE STUDENTS AT THE FINANCES AND MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT UNIVERSITIES

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

Angelica-Nicoleta NECULĂESEI (ONEA) – FROM THE POWER OF LANGUAGE TO RESPONSIBILITY IN EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

Teodora M. FULGA – THE ASSESSEMENT OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION THROUGH THE TOLEDO GUIDE IN ROMANIA

The main actors on the global scene, the State, the Church and society, together with their values, their identity, their faith, and democracy, are involved in a new dilemma of the individual’s relationship to community, with crucial impacts on the position of universality and transcendence in society. The acute crisis in the recent history triggered a new step in the religious, intercultural or confessional education, which must generate an articulated answer in a field cleared of secularism. This is the key for the interpretation of the new State-cults partnerships in education. Thus the interest manifested by students in the non-confessional public schools reveal the need to present in a balanced way the intercultural and interreligious elements, supported in the OSCE vision by the Toledo Guide. The assessment of the religious education class from an intercultural perspective showed that the Orthodox format is quite close to the recommended principles and intercultural values. Nevertheless, in spite of the lack of intercultural education in the structure of these classes the students have a certain level of knowledge from other sources also deserving investigation.

Sebastian D. TOCAR – DIRECTIONS AND KEY SOURCES IN DESIGNING CURRICULUM

The impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on the economy is difficult to overestimate. The influence of cultural factors on FDI is recognized in the scientific community. There are attempts to approach the subject, although they are usually superficial and focused on a certain side of the relation, qualitative analysis is rarely used. The paper presents a qualitative approach to the link between the country’s culture and FDI. We propose the results of content analysis of the articles published in three countries: Romania, Ukraine and Moldova, which aim to highlight differences in the vision of FDI as a result of cultural differentiation and cohere with the amount of FDI. The research results aim to underline the role of cultural differentiation between the countries.

Mihaela Aurelia ȘTEFAN, Emil LAZĂR – ORIENTED TECHNIQUES FOR FOREIGN INVESTMENTS ON AGRICULTURAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

This study supports the foundation curriculum focused on skills in three ways: a) content-centred approach; b) centered approach to learning process; c) social interactions centred approach. These approaches correlate, according to the authors, to the model-centred instructional offered by one who teaches (Logocentric training system) the experience and knowledge of the learner (Empiriocentric training system), but also social valences learning (Sociocentric training system). The data collected shows that most students have a traditional training focused on skills of memorization and reproduction of information. It is necessary to change the methodology so that students acquire self-organization skills, Homing, and lifelong learning. Research methods used were observation, survey-based questionnaire and the experiment. After analysing quantitative and qualitative results, we could make relevant conclusions on the role of pedagogical training program to portray the competence of the teacher. The results were reported in the following aspects: theoretical; auto management learning skills; attitudinal-motivational training.

Andra-Ioana ANDRONICIUC – ONLINE CAMPAIGNING IN THE 2016 USA ELECTIONS – A COMPARATIVE APPROACH

Nowadays, we are witnessing an unprecedented large number of voters who take their daily information from social media. As a result, having a strong online campaign has become a requirement. The United States of America provide a valuable example of how social media have become increasingly more involved in the communication between politicians and voters. That is why this paper aims at bringing evidence from 2016 presidential race, by analyzing the online communication campaigns of finalists Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Our findings show that even if both candidates’ campaigns successfully engage with the voters, Donald Trump is taking better advantage of social media’s features: embracing immediacy (right now), transparency (unvarnished expression) and risk (rather than caution).

Physical education in higher education institutions creates what is called an optimum connection between “to be” and “to become”, within a balanced transition that fosters the full expression of one student’s motric, mental and social potential. The purpose of our research is that of: Identifying various inadequate behaviors (characteristic to sedentary lifestyle) and replacing the latter with some active life specific conducts; Drawing up an action system (didactical project), by using athletism – specific means, in view of creating a new active lifestyle, in the case of those students from non – profile faculties (from the first years of faculty – 18 to 26 years old); The program we have conceived has some visible effects on the building and improving of motric abilities in students from non – profile universities, adjusting one’s body to various intensity strains, and it has some benefic effects on professional activity.

The role of language in spreading social representations is a highly discussed subject in the literature. We note,however,the Bourdieu approach that gives us the context of exploiting the subject in close connection with responsibility. It develops a place of debate in our areas of interest, education and research. What we communicate to the world with the help of the memes – the vectors of transmission / replication of cultural information, becomes an image of the world, of what the world must be,the premise of future actions; hence the power of language and the huge responsibility we all have while ideas are created and disseminated.

Silvius STANCIU – A COMPARATIVE STUDY REGARDING THE EUROPEAN AGRICULTURAL ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT DURING 2007-2013 AND 2014-2020

Sustainable rural development represents one of the European Union policy priorities, which focuses on the development of the agricultural sector by means of an increased attention given to rural communities, to the rural environment and to natural resources. The Common Agricultural Policy Reform led to the development of a number of EU mechanisms for funding the national and regional rural development programs. The present paper performs a study on the concentration degree of national and regional funds, obtained through the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, by relying on the Gini Struck Index. The results of the analysis highlighted a moderate fund distribution concentration degree by means of the EAFRD in the EU, as compared to a high rural development program concentration degree at the level of the Member States. The application of the Pearson Test showed that there wasn’t any significant correlation, from a statistical point of view, between the number of LAGs in the EU and the amount of EAFRD funds absorbed by the Member States.

Vasile-Lucian V. GOLDAN – MULTICULTURAL RELIGIOUS PROSELYTISM OR MISSIONARY ACTIVITY IN THE POSTMODERN SECULARIZED SOCIETY

Lately we are speaking increasingly more about progress, peace, cooperation, understanding and integration in the context of increased efforts to level the inherent differences between individuals or groups of individuals, belonging to different cultural and ideological traditions. But if we do not want all these aspirations to lead to a new Tower of Babel, it must be borne in mind the consideration as a whole and as a particular the real anthropological context of human development, in terms of immanento-transcendental axiology, the two coordinate whose balance determines the progress and the regress of history. From this perspective, the practical approach to an issue so ambitious is obliged to take into account, first the importance both of  the spiritual and rational factor understood in its full forming dimension. This paper is intended to be a concise and systematic exposure of the missionary and proselyte thinking and its relationships with the process of secularization in the democratic environment of the XXI century.

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.

I am a result of consecutive experiences. Invention is a result of a creative process. The invention without entrepreneurial spirit has no finality. The creativity is a connection between innovation and the society progress. But the entire process consists in three concepts: model (as a stimulation to replicate), paradigm (to replicate in another way as a reposition) and template (as a continuous solution). The topic of the conference is not actual; it is for the near future as a perspective.

For instance, I have studied the personality of Nadia Comaneci and I calculate that she had 70 000 hours of very hard work in eight years. So, this kind of practice makes the difference between a common sportive and a genius in sport.

Cristina GELAN – ANAMORPHOSIS – A PRINCIPLE OF AXIOLOGY? REFLECTIONS ON THE INTERPRETATION OF THE ARTWORK

The paper provides an analysis of ways to measure and value the contemporary artworks. In this regard, the paper proposes a dual perspective approach, namely: reporting of some criteria against which may be assessed a work of art, on the one hand and, on the other side, recognizing the importance of  a complex hermeneutical approach that has in the valorization. The context is of the evolution forms of expression, techniques and artistic means, determined mostly by the evolving technology, which led to breaking the traditional specific boundaries of art and to the development of an artistic syncretism. Thus, the artistic object becomes as difficult to define as it is difficult to assess and artwork can be seen as a symbol or a system of signs that serves an aesthetic purpose. The interpretation involves the establishment of a syncretic stylistics and the evaluation becomes a semiosis.

Stela JAKOVA – DIVIDEND PAYMENT BEHAVIOUR OF COMPANIES DUE TO CHANGE OF DIVIDEND TAX RATE IN ROMANIA

This paper examines Romanian companies’ behaviour (listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange) to a change of dividend tax rate. Even if the number of companies which had paid dividends in 2016, for 2015 decreased to 32, compared with 34 companies from previous year, the total value of paid dividends increased with 53% comparatively with dividends paid for 2014. This can be explained through the new tax rate which has been reduced from 16% to 5%. We found that the shareholders obtain profit from two sources: due to increase of gross dividend and due to decrease of the tax rate. Moreover, the paper found also: for the companies who paid higher dividend for 2015 compared with 2014 the dividend paid for 2015 is statistically significant different than the dividend paid for 2014; for the companies who paid smallest dividend for 2015, we were not able to find any statistical difference. This means that the companies which increased the dividend for 2015, took into consideration the new legislation and they are motivated to pay more to the shareholders; companies which decreased the dividend value for 2015 is due to some internal factors.

Victor Nwaoba ITUMO – UNITED NATIONS OFFCIAL LANGUAGES ADOPTION IN UNIVERSITIES

The paper draws attention upon the new kind of demand that globalization places on the today’s people, especially those who wish to operate internationally in various spheres. The culture of the people is well entrenched in their languages. A good way to understand the culture of others is to get involved in intercultural studies where everything concerning others can be revealed. Intercultural studies also present opportunity for understanding other nationalities especially by accessing their cultures through their languages. As is evident in most national study programmes and curriculum, studying in national languages is the precedence thereby limiting the exposure students in higher institutions have after graduation. The research methodology is to do a holistic assessment of the incisive issues on the topic and draws the conclusion of the necessity of adoption of UN working languages for all students in higher Institutions across the globe.

Ștefan COLIBABA, Anca COLIBABA, Cintia COLIBABA – E-LEARNING FROM NATURE THROUGH E-LESSONS

The article is a study based on the e-Learning from Nature project (2015-1-IT02-KA201-015133) funded by the European Commission.  The project’s main objectives are centred on improving students’ low achievement and stimulating secondary school students’ interest in science subjects. The article focuses on scientific education and its challenges and suggests an innovative approach which connects science with nature. It examines one of the most important project outputs: the e-lessons (short video lessons) created within the European partnership and the way they can contribute to increasing students’ motivation to learn science. Participant teachers’ testimonials have also been considered in the general evaluation of this project output.

Stelian MANOLACHE– THE CONTEMPORARY INTER-RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE. SHORT CONSIDERATIONS ON THE STRUCTURE AND THE DYNAMIC OF THE ROMANIAN ORTHODOX VISION

In the postmodern-contemporaneity, when, as W. T. Anderson-shows, the-world-religions-can-discover, in full awareness, what divides them and approaches them, and when, as Jean Delumeau emphasizes,”… different-religions-exalt-each-in-its-language, wisdom and compassion, sincerity and humility, which are precious common values , nobody may not wish them disappear”1(Nicolae Achimescu, 2013), the-Orthodox-Church-opens its doors to all the believers-of-the-world awaiting the-love of the Lord, as–Rev Professor Dumitru-Belu writes in-his-iconic-book About love2(Dumitru Belu, 2016), understanding through tolerance and co-existence the inter-religious dialogue. The renewal of the religious world societies will start, in this context, from the hope that the inter-religious dialogue has the faith in its “mission for promoting a globalization capable […] of sustaining authentic-dialogue-between-religions-and-cultures”3 (Dumitru Popescu, 2003). In other words, Orthodoxy is sincerely4 (Nicolae Achimescu, 2006) on-the-path-of-the-dialogue, being-aware of-the-need-and-the-utility-of-the-dialogue, but also of the chance, perhaps unique, of making publicits sacred and liturgical tradition, given the fact that it is God „who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (I-Timothy-2:4).

Adrian SONEA, Ovidiu-Niculae BORDEAN, Anca BORZA – THE ROLE OF PROFESSIONAL SPECIALISATION IN BUILDING HIGH-TRUST ORGANISATIONS

The paper presents a model of organisational trust based on a sociological survey. The survey respondents were 395 business administration students; during their course of study, these students also work for around 300 companies. For the survey, the students provided their opinions about the level of organisational trust within these companies and what this means for the firms and their personnel. The students also answered about their theoretical and practical training in the university. The paper analyses the business students’ opinions’ and level of trust in their companies and the paper also focuses on ways to improve students’ university training in order to increase levels of organisational trust.

Ludmila PROFIR (SOBOL) – ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE BASED ON THE PROFIT AND LOSS ACCOUNT

Financial performance is often difficult to achieve by economic entities, especially in the current economic context. Successful models of some companies constitute examples of good practice for aspirants. The profit and loss statement is part of the annual reports, is a synthesis accounting document that shows the result of the companies activity and thus measures the firm’s performance during a year. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the impact of the operating result on the financial performance through the net income. The target population of the study was the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange during 2012-2016. The results of this study showed that the operating result has contributed significantly to the net income, and the companies listed and traded on the Bucharest Stock Exchange have successfully overcome the negative effects of the crisis and the recession.

Adriana UNGUREANU – THE ROLE OF THE RESEARCH IN RESHAPING TEXTILE INDUSTRY

Apparently, the international competition seems to be moved to the area of investments in new technologies waiting for results in the near future. Nanotechnology is by far the most wanted by investors. The last twenty years the investments in nanotechnology became the priority for all the developed states and this trend was followed by the less developed countries. At the opposite side, there are countries as Romania that seem to lose the start in front of those very active in this field.  This paper tries to present the role of the Romanian Research and Development activity to reshape the textile industry through new technologies and nanotechnologies especially. To gather the proper information, the in-depth interview method was used. The conclusions reveal that state keeps the key for a good research activity by offering stable and consistent support. At the same time, a lot of measures or recommendations could be a pragmatic solution to take seriously the role of the research activity to bring its contribution for this big challenge.
