Reference style
General
The SEA OPEN RESEARCH preferred style of reference is APA (American Psychological Association Style).
We recommend The Basics of APA Style https://extras.apa.org/apastyle/basics-7e/ (free tutorial).
All references cited in the text must be included in the reference list at the end of the manuscript and every reference in the list must be cited in the text.
In-text citation should be in brackets.
References should be listed alphabetically by author. For more than one publication by an author, arrange by publication date with the earliest publication first.
In-text citation
In-text citations appear in the body of the work (or table, figure etc.). They enable readers to locate the corresponding entry in the reference list. Parenthetical citation (Smith, 2020) or narrative citation: Smith (2020) describes the issue in more detail…
