Three roles define the members of the Editorial Board:
Ambassadors: sourcing potential authors and readers, but also encouraging their students and colleagues to read and cite the journal. In order to be considered an active ambassador of the journal, Scientific Editors within the Editorial Board should facilitate the publication of at least three authors per year in the journal, thereby contributing to the visibility and academic quality of the publication.
Reviewers: providing reviews, when invited, of papers submitted for consideration; acting as a source of advice to author(s).
Advisers: making a valuable contribution to the development of the journal.
Failure to fulfill the role of ambassador, reviewer, or advisor by Scientific Editors, as determined by the annual evaluations, will result in the loss of their status as Scientific Editor within the SEA Editorial Department.
