For Delegates & Online Acces to the Confernce
These terms and conditions are valid for every person registered as delegates, students, post-docs, accompanying persons, sponsors, exhibitors or any other persons who attend the conferences/events arranged or organized by ROMANIAN FOUNDATION FOR BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE.
General Terms & Delivery Policy
- A personal address (Institution/Company) and email address for each delegate must be provided during the registration process
- Multiple registrations with the same email address will not be accepted by the system.
- Please ensure the billing details are entered correctly as invoices cannot be changed later
- Invoices must be requested online through the user account and also can be later emailed to you. Alternatively, you can request an invoice via email (info@seaopenresearch.eu)
- The following payments are accepted through the on-line registration system.
- credit card (Visa, MasterCard, and Visa Electron).
- For bank transfer, the account details will be provided by e-mail.
- Confirmation of registration or invitation letters will be emailed to you once supporting documentation (passport photo page/letter from your Institution /Company), if applicable, and once the payments are received. Please allow three working days for credit card payments and five working days for bank transfers/ bank drafts. The credit cards also have charges which are to be paid by the participants.
Fees & Payment Options
Fees for the Event are correct at the time of publication. SEA reserves the right to change the Fees at any time but changes will not affect registrations which have already been confirmed by SEA. The Fees (where required) are payable at the same time as You submit your booking form by credit card or bank transfer. You acknowledge that SEA cannot guarantee places held on a provisional basis and that places may sell out.
Two methods of payment are available:
1. By credit card (recommended method)
We accept Visa or Mastercard and many additions are being added and you can see it on our online payment gateway once you start the registration process. The online system uses secure encryption to protect your card and personal details.
2. By bank transfer
Our online payment interface provides a Secure Website Order Page. As part of our dedication to provide secure online payment methods, we have added an extra level of security for Visa, MasterCard and other card type payments. This protects you from the unauthorised use of your credit card. 3-D Secure technology consists of the programs ‘Verified by Visa’ and ‘MasterCard SecureCode’ and for other cards.
Cancellation/ Refund Policy
All reimbursement will be processed after the conference.
1. Substitution
If a registrant is unable to attend an event for any reason they may substitute someone else from the same institute/organization by arrangement with the conference manager. You can request the transfer of your registration to another participant by timely intimation to the Conference Secretariat in writing by e-mail to info@seaopenresearch.eu. Please inform us about the substitution at least 20 days before the conference.
2. Cancellation
Whereas, when the registrant is unable to attend, and is not in a position to transfer his/her place to another person or to another event, then the following refund arrangements apply:
- Registrations cancelled more than 60 days before the event will be refunded 80% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 60 but more than 30 days before the event will be refunded 50% of the registration fees.
- Registrations cancelled less than 30 days before the event will not be eligible for a refund.
- Registrations from authors cancelled as a result of a paper/abstrat not being accepted will be refunded 80% of the registrations fees. The remaining 20% of the fee contributes to administration costs incurred.
- Cancellations from authors made after a failed visa application will be refunded the 50% registration fees. APPC (Article Publication & Processing Charge) which covers the costs associated with processing the paper will not be refunded. In this event, the paper/abstract will still be published.
Your details
By submitting registration details, You agree to allow SEA to contact you as required for the organisation and administration of the Event. SEA will comply with our privacy policy in respect of your registration details and other information we hold about you.
The names, job titles and organisations of all registered delegates will be placed on the delegate list for the Event. This list will be provided to sponsoring companies and to all delegates via an online attendee directory, so that they can see who is at the Event for the purpose of networking and meetings. If You do not wish to be included on this list please email info@seaopenresearch.eu at the time of making your booking. Delegates who register for the online attendee directory acknowledge and agree that they shall not, under any circumstances, use the delegate list for their own promotional and marketing purposes.
SEA will only contact you for marketing purposes, and will only pass on your contact details to sponsors for marketing purposes, to the extent that you expressly consent to this (for example, by opting in during the registration process).
Publicity Policy
Each registrant grants the organiser the right to photograph/videotape participants and to use such photographs/videos, the names of attendees, the text of the speech in materials which either represent the proceedings of the conference, retrospective of the conference or promote future conferences. The Organizer may free of charge and without the further consent of the participants use and release pictures, shots and videos taken of the participants and/or their works (such as posters, excerpts of presentations or lectures) during the Conference for reports of the Conference and announcement of events in future.
Liability
With paid registration, the participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge claims against the conference organizers should the meeting be altered, hindered, or prevented by unexpected political or economic events, unpredictable forces of nature, speaker cancellations or other unforeseeable events.
Online Conference Service
All information (presentation/life videos, written text, audio files, etc.) provided by particpants are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. All such information is referred to below as the “Content”.
Prohibited Content: You agree that you will not send, display, post, submit, publish or transmit Content that: a) is unfair or decetive under the consumer protection laws of any jurisdiction; b) is copyrighted, protected by trade secret or otherwise subject to third party proprietary rights, including privacy and publicity rights, unless you are the owner of such rights; c) creates a risk to a person’s saftety or health, creates a risk to public saftey or health, compromises national security, or interferes with an investigation by law enforcement; d) impersonates another person; e) promotes illegal drugs, violates export control laws, relates to illegal gambling, or illegal arms trafficking; f) is unlawful, defamatory, libelous, threatening, pornographic, harassing, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive, or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability, violates any law, or is otherwise dishonest, inaccurate, inappropriate, malicious or fraudulent; g) involves theft or terrorism; h) constitutes an unauthorized commercial communication; i) contains the contact information or any personally identifiable information of any third party unless you have first obtained the express consent of said third party to include their contact information or personally identifiable information; and/or j) breaches this agreement.
The Organizer reserves the right (but shall have no obligation) to pre-screen, review, flag, filter, modify, refuse or remove any or all Content from any Service without further notice to you. We have complete discretion whether to publish your Content and have the right to delete any and all Content at any time which we believe to be in violation of the “Prohibited Content”.
You should be aware that Content presented to you as part of the Services, including but not limited to advertisements in the Services and sponsored Content within the Services may be protected by intellectual property rights which are owned by the sponsors or advertisers who provide that Content to SEA (or by other persons or companies on their behalf). You may not modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on this Content (either in whole or in part) unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by Organizer or by the owners of that Content, in a separate agreement.
You understand that by using the Services you may be exposed to Content that you may find offensive, indecent or objectionable and that, in this respect, you use the Services at your own risk.
You agree that you are solely responsible for (and that Organizer has no responsibility to you or to any third party for) any Content that you create, transmit or display while using the Services and for the consequences of your actions (including any loss or damage which Organizer may suffer) by doing so.
Privacy Policy
All personal data provided to the Organizer for registration will be treated as confidential. The data shall be used and stored for further processing and documentation purposes. The information will not be re-used for an incompatible purpose. Data shall be delivered to assigned service providers, as deemed necessary for the successful performance of the Conference. The Organizer will only disclose information to third parties if that is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose(s) identified above.
Insurance
The organizers do not accept any responsibility for individual medical, travel or personal insurance. Delegates are strongly advised to have their own travel insurance policies to cover risks including (but not limited to) loss, cancellation, medical costs and injury. The conference organizers will not accept any responsibility for any delegate failing to take out adequate insurance.
